Welcome to Corbett Cottage on the Northumberland coast, near Holy Island and Berwick upon Tweed, where we specialise in offering cosy self catering holiday cottage accommodation for up to three people and your pets. We aim to make your stay as relaxing, enjoyable and comfortable as possible for you, your family and your dogs.

Corbett Cottage is a 19th century red brick cottage which is light, bright and cheerful with a beachy feel to get you in the holiday mood. It is south facing with a sunny aspect and has views of the Cheviot Hills to the front and the Northumberland coast to the back. The cottage has a log burning stove, central heating and double glazing to keep you snug as a bug in a rug.

The rural position and lovely quiet roads offer excellent opportunities for walking and cycling. Bring your own bikes and explore at your leisure. Bird and wildlife watching is popular in the Northumberland National Park, the Scottish Borders, or along the Northumberland and Berwickshire coastlines. It is not surprising that the area provides great inspiration for photographers and artists.

The cottage is conveniently situated for visiting the Holy Island of Lindisfarne about 4 miles to the east, the Cheviot Hills 10 miles to the west, and the nearest town, Berwick on Tweed 6 miles to the north.

The convenient location close to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, makes it easy to plan your visit around the tides to this important centre for Christianity with a history dating back to the 6th century AD. Lindisfarne has long been a major draw for tourists and pilgrims alike and has plenty to explore, from the English Heritage Priory founded by St Aidan, to the famous and photogenic National Trust Lindisfarne Castle remodelled by Sir Edward Lutyens with its Getrude Jeykll Garden. The island lies within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Northumberland coast and is also a haven for birds and wildlife. No visit to Northumbeland is complete without a trip to Holy Island and Corbett Cottage is just on the doorstep.

Edinburgh and Newcastle are both about an hour's drive away or just 50 minutes by train from Berwick east coast mainline station. London is around 3 hours 50 minutes away by train from Kings Cross.
